* Learning ten simple song from different genre of Indian music

Tabla
* History of Tabla and Knowledge of different parts of the instrument
* Knowledge of basic bol,s ( syllables of Tabla language) and its playing
finger technique to create the right sound
* Mastering basic bol's by practicing simple lines
* Knowledge of Tabla rhythm system by practicing simple composition
called Kaida
* Introducing the basic THEKA (basic rhythm pattern describe by the tabla
book) of Taal KEHERWA (8 beats cycle) and Taal DADRA( 6 beats cycle)

Intermediate

Vocal and Harmonium
* Introduction of Ten basic Thaats (Thaat is a "Parent scale" in
North Indian or Hindustani classical music) to develop the idea of Raga music
* Introduction of pitch practice with Taanpura(Taanpura is an Indian
traditional dron
instrument)
* Playing and singing palta's on Thaats to get a clear idea of komal and
tivra swaras
* Introduction of Taala system of Indian classical music through most common yet most effective Taala called ‘TEENTAAL’
* Introduction of raaga bandish(Bandish is a fixed, melodic composition in
Hindustani vocal or instrumental music)
* Preparing Students for the Diploma exam from Indian music university
* Learning five raga based songs
Tabla
* Learning variety of tabla notes with kayda
* Learning the idea of rela (A composition performed
at higher speeds. Common in both tabla solo and accompaniment).
* Learning small compositions like tukrha, chakradar gat, paran etc
performed
in tabla solo and accompaniment
* Learning most of the common theka variations and pick up in
Madhylaya(medium) and Drut(fast) Keherwa and Dadra
* Learning Keherwa and Dadra theka application in light classical and

Advance

* Elaborate training on Meend(a glide from one note to another), Gamaka
(Heavy vibration between two notes used as an ornamentation in Indian
music)and Murki(a fast and delicate ornamentation or alankar,
employing two or more notes)
* Learning Bandishe,s on Ten Raga's
* Learning different stages of vister ( Vistar is the detailed elaboration
using slow phrases of Notes of a Raga according to
the Raga's Rules)
*Elaborate training on complex Taala system on Teentaal(16 beats), Jhaptaal(10 beats)
Rupak(7 beats), Chowtaal(12 beats), vilambit ektaal(48 beats) etc
* Working on Taan improvisation ( Swar Taan, Aa-kar Taan, Bol Taan)
* Itroduction of light classical genre like Thumri, Dadra etc

Tabla

* Learning compositions like kaida, rela, tukrha, chakradar, gat, paran, chalan
etc on different taal system
* Traing on vilambit Taal system on Vilambit Ektaal and Teentaal
* Training on Classical vocal and instrumental accompaniment
* learning variety of laggi( Laggi is small bo pattern playes in double speed,
creates excitement in a certain point of a song, applies in light classical and
light music accompaniment)
* Specific laggi appliction in different genre of Indian music like Thumri, Dadra, Bhajan, Gazal, Popular music
Special Tabla accompaniment
* Special accompaniment training on Fusion, Jazz, western pop and other western form of music

Online Class structure

Biginners, Intermediate and Advance
Ninaad School of Music has successfully conducted Online music classes to a massive number of students who have joined us (110 students at the moment) in last two year.  Slowly but surely, it's popularity has increased as students from Gauteng, Durban, Cape Town, Usa,  Brazil, Dubai,  and India joined us and have had great experiences of music learning.

NINAAD  SCHOOL OF MUSIC  is  an affiliated center of  Indian  music  universities  like NIKHIL BHARAT SANGEET SAMITY, kolkata  and  PRAYAG  SNGEET  SAMITY , ALLAHABAD.  So we are offering an internationally acclaimed Diploma of the musical skill through virtual exam facilities  from  these  universities who will assist us in conducting our virtual exams.

Requirements  for online class

1. Download and install online platforms such as ZOOM, TEAMS, JITSI, google meet etc. – Become familiar with your preferences for these. WhatsApp video calls work really well too for individual or small group class.

2. For your convenience and comfort during online classes, consider purchasing a phone-holder stand for your phone. We advise you to use headphones for the computer device specially.

3. Bluetooth headphones with microphones can also be beneficial for your comfort during online classes ,wired earphones will work well too.

4.  We try our best to allocate a slot in your convenient time.

3. After the normal practice session we will send you necessary written and audio video practice material.
